Our client is a school system located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. We are searching for a speech therapist to finish out the 09/10 school year contract position mostly with an elementary aged caseload of 50 students. For teachers and therapists, the first day of school is in late August, with students reporting about a week later. Moorefield, WV is a rural town located approximately one hour or so from Winchester, VA, Harrisonburg, VA, and Cumberland, MD. You will enjoy friendly residents and a low cost of living. The schools system has 2 other SLPs on staff. Salary ranges from $33 - $40 per hour depending on the experience level of the therapist. CFYs with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered.
Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
